_What It Takes: YOUR Indie Business Buzz is an informal monthly meeting
of people who want to turn their creative work into a sustainable
living. We'll cover topics like product photography, branding your
business, selling your work online and in local shops, and any other
challenges that you're facing. What It Takes is for everyone. All
experience levels are welcome, so please join us! Come ask questions,
share your knowledge, and learn from others' experience to get
organized, get ready, and get on your way!
What It Takes meets on the first Wednesday of each month from 5:30-7:00. Meetings are free for members and $5 for nonmembers. Blogging requires a combination of creativity, ingenuity and commitment. Creating content on a regular basis requires self-discipline. This session will provide tips & tricks for people who need to develop their blogging strategy.
Carrie is currently an instructional designer at Brown University, helping faculty make the most of internet technology for teaching, learning and research. She is also the social media strategist for NERCOMP.org and a visiting instructor at Salem State University.
